The Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnology has been actively conducting counseling programs that align with Sustainable Development Goal 9, focusing on industry, innovation, and infrastructure. Their efforts are reflected in the organization of scientific-practical conferences at both national and international levels, as well as through the establishment of a cooperation agreement with Turkey’s Konya Selçuk University and providing the spin-off company

On January 12-20, 2022, the Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnologies held an online scientific-practical conference of students on the topic “Effective use of innovative resource-saving techniques and technologies in agriculture”.

On March 21-22, 2022, a scientific-practical conference was held at the national level on the topic “The role of new innovative technologies in the integration of science, education and production in the development of agriculture”

In August 2021, a cooperation agreement was signed between Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agro-Technology and Turkey’s Konya Selçuk University, which aims to establish educational-methodological, scientific-research, exchange programs between professors and teachers and students. With the support of Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnologies and Turkey’s Konya Selçuk University and on the initiative of “Bek Hayot Grup” company, on April 20-22, 2022, the international conference “Technologies and marketing of fruit and vegetable growing and grape growing” was successfully held on the territory of the institute. 36 representatives from Turkey participated in the international conference.

The purpose of the spin-off company  is to breed introduced ornamental trees and shrubs that meet climatic conditions and to improve the ecological situation and urban and rural infrastructure, to provide an optimal environment for people and other living organisms, to reduce harmful substances in the atmosphere, and to increase the demand for ornamental trees and shrubs in the market. It consists of obtaining economic benefits through cultivation in short and intensive ways.

Overall, the institute consistently supports activities related to industry, innovation, and infrastructure through its various conferences and partnerships.
