What is the procedure for collecting personal information?
Collection of personal data is defined in Article 23 of this Law – during a tour of the living quarters and other rooms of the respondents or in the rooms provided for this purpose by the local executive authorities. This is done by filling out the registration forms.
The collection of personal data can also be done through the use of information and communication technologies, taking into account the requirements of information security.
The survey of respondents will be conducted in the state language. Respondents who do not speak the state language can be interviewed in their native language or in a freely chosen language of communication.
The registration forms are completed by the registrar based on the responses of the respondents.
Personal data on respondents who were not present at the place of residence (residence) during the census or who were minors were not provided by adult members of the household. lum. Personal information about the persons in respect of whom guardianship or trusteeship has been established shall be disclosed by their guardians or trustees.
If the respondent refuses to answer the questions on the registration form, the registration form will be filled out based on the information available to the citizens’ self-government bodies or local state authorities.
It is forbidden to collect personal information on issues not covered by the census program.
