About the sports competitions held in January 2022 between the faculties of the Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agro-Technology
The sports club of the institute was established based on the certificate No. 339-B dated December 28, 2020, in order to widely involve students, professors, scientific staff and workers of the Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agro-Technology in mass-physical and sports-health activities.
Currently, the Institute has 5 faculties.
1) Storage and processing of agricultural products
2) Plant protection and agrochemistry
3) Agribusiness and digital economy
4) Agrobiology
5) Agroengineering and hydromelioration
A total of 3,622 students are studying in the above faculties, of which 724 are enrolled in sports sections. Sports sections are organized in the institute for sports (football, mini-football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, chess, tug-of-war, athletics).
During the year 2022, it is planned to organize more than 58 sporting events in football, mini-football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, chess, tug-of-war, athletics, and more than 58 sporting events in a total of 32 times.
In this regard, on January 15, 2022, volleyball competitions were held among female students living in TTJ.
The girls of the Faculty of Agrobiology and the Faculty of Storage and Processing of Agricultural Products did not leave each other alone. Agility, boldness and cunning moves to raise the ball was a struggle to win. According to the result, the girls of the Faculty of Agrobiology won with 21 points. Diplomas and souvenirs were awarded to the winners.
On January 25, 2022, in order to meaningfully organize students’ free time from classes and to interest female students in sports, talented in order to identify athletes, a table tennis competition was organized among male and female students living in the 2nd student residence.
12 female students took part in it. Competitions were very intense. Among the participants, Shirinoy Jabborova, a student of the 2nd stage, who stood out for her skills, won the 3rd place, and Zahrokhan Ergasheva, a student of the 1st stage, won the 2nd place. Nafisakhan Gurbanova, a third-year student of the faculty, was declared the absolute winner of the competition with her speed and skill.
“Union Cup” competition was organized among the students of Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agro-Technology in mini football. In the competition, students of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd levels tried their best on the green field.
