On January 12-20, 2022, the Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnologies held an online scientific-practical conference of students on the topic “Effective use of innovative resource-saving techniques and technologies in agriculture”.
The opening (plenary meeting) and closing (final meeting) of the republican scientific-practical conference was held on January 12-20, 2022 in the large meeting hall of the Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agro-Technology.
Branch meetings were held on January 13, 2022 from 900 to 1700 in 2 large meeting halls of the institute. More than 350 students studying in 20 specialized departments took part in it.
An exhibition of scientific developments prepared by talented students of the institute on innovative ideas and technologies related to the topic was presented at the conference.
Special working groups consisting of experienced professors and teachers worked in the branches of the conference. More than 200 scientific articles submitted to the conference were discussed by the members of the working group.

On March 21-22, 2022, a scientific-practical conference was held at the national level on the topic “The role of new innovative technologies in the integration of science, education and production in the development of agriculture”.
The opening (plenary meeting) and closing (final meeting) of the republican scientific-practical conference was held on March 21-22, 2022 in the large meeting hall of the Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agro-Technology.
Branch meetings on March 21, 2022 after lunch and on March 22, 2022 from 900 to 1700 in 2 large and 5 small meeting halls of the institute, namely activist hall, seminar hall and conference halls with 6 modern sound amplifiers and acoustic technical facilities was held in equipped rooms. More than 350 participants took part in it. Among them, 150 professors and teachers, more than 45 doctoral students, 75 masters and about 100 talented students took part. Leaders and specialists of the Andijan regional administration, Andijan regional innovation department under the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Andijan regional agricultural department, Andijan regional water management department, representatives of higher educational institutions and scientific research institutes of our republic and other fields and specialists of all fields are active in the conference. participated. In particular, many scientists and specialists from higher educational institutions and research institutes of the three regions of the valley – Namangan, Fergana and Andijan regions were involved in the work of the conference. Most of them participated actively with their lectures on current topics.

“Preparations for protecting plants from diseases and pests”, “Mini-hydroponics”, “Cultivation and preliminary processing of agricultural products” and canning in Kozgazma products”, “Samples of fruit and vegetable crops”, different varieties of cotton and grain”, “Mechanization of agriculture”, as well as “Biogas generating device”, “Bioghumus” and “Ekogumus” samples, “Samples of soil types”, “Adrlik and samples of projects, devices and equipment such as a device for drip irrigation of plants in semi-arid areas”, “Device for generating and accounting for electricity consumption”, “Creation of a hybrid microelectric power station with jet hydro turbine working on the basis of solar and hydropower” were presented. The exhibitions organized during the conference served as a valuable resource for the participants.
Professors and teachers of higher educational institutions of our country and scientists of research institutes, as well as representatives of partner organizations actively participated in the republic scientific-practical conference. In particular, scientists of higher educational institutions and research institutes in Karakalpakstan, Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Andijan, Fergana, Namangan and other regions, as well as managers and experts of farms, enterprises, organizations operating in our republic, exchanged opinions and suggestions and recommendations were made.
On the first day of the conference, 7 branches of the conference received a total of 74 contributions from scientists of higher educational institutions and research institutes in Karakalpakstan, Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Andijan, Fergana, Namangan and other regions of our republic, as well as managers and specialists of farms, enterprises, organizations operating in our republic. lectures were heard online and offline.

In the materials of the conference, in all branches of agriculture, including the cultivation of high and quality crops from crops and increasing soil fertility and the calculation of fertilization in moderation, as well as the development of plant selection and seed production and the creation of new varieties, the protection of plants from diseases and pests, and the production of effective drugs against them , development of fruit and vegetable growing and their processing, development of forestry and establishment of forestry and introduction of medicinal plants, rational use of land, water and other natural resources, new technologies of irrigation application and protection of the environment and the use of new innovative technologies in the mechanization of agriculture and the use, restoration and repair of agricultural machinery, feeding livestock, increasing the production of livestock products and developing sericulture, as well as the integration of agrarian sectors with science, education and production and the prospects for its development, as well as the wide implementation of the achievements of the exact and natural sciences in the production of management and marketing services of farms, enterprises and organizations, agribusiness and digital economy, as well as increasing the economic efficiency of farms, organizations and enterprises, accounting and the unsolved issues according to the analyzes were discussed, and proposals and comments on the solution of the current problems were accepted.

In August 2021, a cooperation agreement was signed between Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agro-Technology and Turkey’s Konya Selçuk University, which aims to establish educational-methodological, scientific-research, exchange programs between professors and teachers and students. With the support of Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnologies and Turkey’s Konya Selçuk University and on the initiative of “Bek Hayot Grup” company, on April 20-22, 2022, the international conference “Technologies and marketing of fruit and vegetable growing and grape growing” was successfully held on the territory of the institute. 36 representatives from Turkey participated in the international conference.
On April 19, 2022, guests were welcomed from the Fergana International Airport and settled in hotels in the city of Andijan. They were invited to the institute and an introduction ceremony was held. After that, it was divided into 5 branches, and discussions were organized in separate rooms with the participation of professors and teachers of relevant departments. In particular, the possibilities of introducing the results achieved in Turkish agriculture to Uzbekistan in the branches “Protection and storage after harvest”, “Organic fertilizers”, “Fruit growing”, “Vegetables and greenhouse farming”, “Water-saving technologies and agricultural mechanization” were considered. .
Exhibitions of more than 10 Turkish companies were officially opened on April 20, 2022. At the official opening ceremony, the mayor of Andijan region Sh. Q. Abdurakhmanov, the assistant rector of Konya Selçuk University of Turkey, professor Zeki Bayramoglu, the director of the Master’s and Doctorate Institute of Sciences of Akdeniz University, Orhan Ozchatalbash, the founder of “Bek Hayot Grup” Muhammet Sedat Koljuoglu, Andijan Agriculture and Komiljon Komilov, rector of the Agrotechnological Institute, participated with introductory remarks.

On April 21, 2022, Orhan Ozchatalbash, Director of the Magisterial-Doctoral Institute of Sciences of Akdeniz University, on the topic “The importance of youth in agriculture and cooperation between Turkey and Uzbekistan”, Dr. Mustafa Chakaldash “Technologies of Young Fruit and Vegetable Storage”, Hayrettin Arpachi from “Unitar” Company on “Organic Fertilization and Plant Protection in Fruit and Vegetable and Grape Cultivation”, Eylem Koch from “Solitor Peyzaj” on “Landscape Design in Urban Development” were intensively discussed.
Uzbekistan-Turkey agribusiness development exhibitions were held as part of the international conference. At the international conference, the issues of establishing trade centers for fruit and vegetable products, development of export and joint trade of fruit and vegetables, and application of mechanization and technologies in fruit and vegetable cultivation were discussed. Also, in this field, opportunities were considered in such directions as developing cooperation with our institute, developing joint projects, conducting scientific research, strengthening international relations, developing trade, supplying farmers with new equipment and technologies, exporting products, and organizing exhibitions.
More than 5,000 guests from local farmers, representatives of agroclusters, agricultural products processing industries visited the exhibitions at this international conference, and more than 100 contracts were signed with Turkish companies.
