About the sports competitions held between the faculties of the Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agro-Technology in November 2022
The sports club of the institute was established based on the certificate No. 339-B dated December 28, 2020, in order to widely involve students, professors, scientific staff and workers of the Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agro-Technology in mass-physical and sports-health activities.
Currently, the Institute has 5 faculties.
1) Storage and processing of agricultural products
2) Plant protection and agrochemistry
3) Agribusiness and digital economy
4) Agrobiology
5) Agroengineering and hydromelioration
A total of 3,622 students are studying in the above faculties, of which 724 are enrolled in sports sections. Sports sections are organized in the institute for sports (football, mini-football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, chess, tug-of-war, athletics).
During the year 2022, it is planned to organize more than 58 sports events in football, mini-football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, chess, tug-of-war, athletics, 32 times in total and 58 sports events.
“Rector’s Cup” competitions are going on in our institute. Today, on November 9, one of our national games, “Tug-of-war” was organized between the teams of the faculty.
A friendly meeting is being held between all faculties of the institute on the “Tug-of-war” type of this sport. In order to meaningfully and effectively organize free time of students, all institutes participated in this competition

Students of agroengineering and hydromelioration faculties actively participated.
According to the final results:
1st place team of the Faculty of Plant Protection, Agrochemistry and Soil Science.
2nd place: the team of the Faculty of Agricultural Products Storage and Processing.
The 3rd place was won by the team of students of the “Agribusiness and digital economy” faculty.

At the propaganda event held on November 15, he spoke about the changes that have taken place in all areas of our country in the last 3 years, about the efforts made to further improve the lives of citizens, and to completely change the way of life. Also, during the event, in the sports complex of the institute, Andijan
sports competitions were organized among representatives of the unorganized population of the district.
Men and women interested in sports of the unorganized population took part in the sports competitions of chess, checkers, and table tennis. Also, physical education coaches of district secondary schools took part in the competitions of the belt wrestling type of sport. At the end of the competition, representatives of the district administration and the rector of the institute awarded souvenirs and diplomas to the winners.
On November 17 of this year, a meeting full of unforgettable moments was held in our institute on the occasion of “World Student Day”. The sequence of events was uninterrupted and in a truly festive mood. Rector of the institute Komiljon Sobirovich Komilov awarded the winners of the institute stage of the “Student of the Year 2022” republic competition with diplomas and valuable gifts of the regional governor.
After that, the ceremony of awarding the winners of the “Rector’s Cup” sports competitions organized in the institute was held. Students of the Faculty of Agribusiness and Digital Economy actively participated in the sports competitions and took the following places among the winners:
– Inter-faculty “Rector’s Cup” in “Volleyball” type of sport
proud 1st place in the competition;
– Honorable 1st place in the inter-faculty (among girls) “Rector’s Cup” competition in the “Table Tennis” type of sport;
– Honorable 1st place in the inter-faculty “Rector’s Cup” competition in the “Athletics” (running) type of sport;
– Honorable 3rd place in the interfaculty “Rector’s Cup” competition in the “Tug of War” type of sport;
– They won the 2nd place in the “Rector’s Cup” inter-faculty (boys) competition in the “Table Tennis” category.
The winners were awarded diplomas and valuable gifts from the rector of the institute.
