The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Andijan Branch of the Republican Specialized Narcology Scientific and Practical Center, the Andijan District IIB, the Preventive Inspector attached to Higher Education, and the professors and teachers of the Department of Humanities jointly organized an event on the theme of “Drug addiction plague”. First, the department head of the Andijan branch of the scientific and practical center of narcology spoke about the negative effects of drug addiction on society, human life, and the body.

The employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs gave legal insights to the audience on the administrative and criminal liability established by law in cases of dealing in narcotics and other types of synthetic drugs, psychotropic substances.

Law professors and teachers of the institute also expressed their opinions on the topic.
