To date, more than 20,000 highly qualified specialists who have graduated from the faculty are serving in leading and managerial positions in all regions of our Republic and several foreign countries in the fields of agriculture and water management, as well as in various organizations, making a worthy contribution to the development of our country.
From 2020, the faculty team is headed by candidate of agricultural sciences, associate professor Tursunov Khairullokh Odiljonovich as dean. Today, more than 600 students are studying at the faculty in the following fields of study:
- Mechanization of agriculture;
- Professional education (mechanization of agriculture);
- Water management and reclamation;
- Energy supply in agriculture and water management;
- Automation and control of technological processes and production;
- Use of hydraulic facilities and pumping stations;
- Technical service in agriculture and water management;
- Mechanization of water management and reclamation works.
Today, the faculty has 4 departments:
- Organization of agricultural machines and technical service;
- Hydraulic engineering and reclamation facilities;
- Use of electricity and pumping stations;
- Foreign languages.
92 professors and teachers provide knowledge and education to students in the departments of the faculty. 4 of them are doctors of science, professors, more than 30 candidates of science, associate professors. The classrooms of all departments, especially the auditoriums for teaching specialized subjects, as well as the rooms for experimental and practical training, are equipped with modern computer equipment and laboratory equipment.
In order to strengthen the knowledge of students in science programs, their educational and production practices are planned for the most optimal periods. is being conducted in design-research organizations in the field of economy and land reclamation. Vocational education students are doing their internships in vocational colleges.
The spiritual, educational and educational work carried out in the faculty is carried out under the leadership of the Council of Spirituality, the Council of Women and Girls, the primary organization of the Youth Union of the faculty, and the press services of the Faculty. Certain activities are being carried out in order to popularize sports among young students of the faculty, to identify and train talented athletes, and to create wider conditions for them. As a result, students participate in national and international competitions and achieve great success.
As a result of the work with talented students, the students of the faculty won state scholarships named after Ulugbek and Beruniy, as well as in competitions held at the level of the republic, region, higher education institutions and institutes. Also, many talented students are doing internships in foreign countries.
The professors and teachers of the faculty cooperate with higher educational institutions and research institutes of the Republic of Uzbekistan and countries such as Great Britain (Scotland), Italy, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Canada, Korea, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan in cooperation with educational institutions, they are conducting educational-methodological and scientific-research works.
The professors and teachers of the faculty improve their skills in the leading higher educational institutions and scientific research institutes of our Republic and in the educational institutions of the above-mentioned foreign countries and contribute to the development of our country.
