Jamshid Khodjayev,
Minister of Agriculture, Rector of TSU:

“Dear agricultural workers!
I congratulate all of you on your professional holiday and sincerely wish you good health, happiness and prosperity. Let your favorite agricultural business be your source of inspiration, great income and support for today, as well as a guarantee of future success!

Agricultural Workers’ Day is not just a professional holiday for millions of people, representing dozens of specialties working in fields, farms, industry, research laboratories, and classrooms.

Perhaps it is the joy of everyone who fully understands that the honest work of millions of people who work hard in agriculture will feed billions of people.

It takes 365 days to work in agriculture and each season has its advantages and blessings.

In modern agriculture in Uzbekistan, traditions are combined with innovations, mechanization and digitalization of manual labor. Relying on experienced people, the field is developing on the basis of new scientific developments and technologies.

The agricultural sector of the country is moving forward, focusing on the nine priorities of the “Strategy for Agricultural Development until 2030” approved by the President of Uzbekistan.

In his holiday address to all agricultural workers (https://president.uz/uz/lists/view/4827), the President spoke in detail about the main changes. Behind all these positive shifts is the work of professionals, mainly people living in rural areas.

All of them will ensure the food security of our country – yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Many thanks to every worker in the agricultural sector for his hard work, dedication to his work, love for the land.

Long live and prosper! “
