About the sports competitions planned for May 2022 between the faculties of the Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agro-Technology
The sports club of the institute was established based on the certificate No. 339-B dated December 28, 2020, in order to widely involve students, professors, scientific staff and workers of the Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agro-Technology in mass-physical and sports-health activities.
Currently, the Institute has 5 faculties.
1) Storage and processing of agricultural products
2) Plant protection and agrochemistry
3) Agribusiness and digital economy
4) Agrobiology
5) Agroengineering and hydromelioration
A total of 3,622 students are studying in the above faculties, of which 724 are enrolled in sports sections. Sports sections are organized in the institute for sports (football, mini-football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, chess, tug-of-war, athletics).
During the year 2022, it is planned to organize more than 58 sports events in football, mini-football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, chess, tug-of-war, athletics, 32 times in total and 58 sports events.
According to the above plan, football competitions among young people are being organized in the region in order to prevent drug addiction and crimes among young people, to eliminate crime and to promote the negative consequences of various psychotropic substances, as well as to promote a healthy lifestyle among young people in the institute.
In particular, on May 16 of this year, in order to meaningfully organize the free time of young people, a football competition was held between the teams of students of the Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agro-Technology and the Andijan Institute of Economics and Construction.
According to the final results of the competition, the team of the Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnologies won 4:0.
In the Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agro-Technology, “Friendship meetings” are being organized among students of the 1st level in order to increase the effectiveness of the work aimed at forming a healthy lifestyle culture and raising them as highly moral individuals.
In particular, on May 27 of this year, a “Friendship match” was held in the sports complex of the institute between boys and girls of the 1st stage students of the Faculty of Plant Protection, Soil Science and Agrochemistry, and the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Hydromelioration.
According to the final results, the score was tied. At the end of the “Friendly Meetings” held, the winning team will be presented with a portable trophy of the institute and souvenirs.
