About the sports competitions held in December 2022 between the faculties of the Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agro-Technology
The sports club of the institute was established based on the certificate No. 339-B dated December 28, 2020, in order to widely involve students, professors, scientific staff and workers of the Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agro-Technology in mass-physical and sports-health activities.
Currently, the Institute has 5 faculties.
1) Storage and processing of agricultural products
2) Plant protection and agrochemistry
3) Agribusiness and digital economy
4) Agrobiology
5) Agroengineering and hydromelioration
A total of 3,622 students are studying in the above faculties, of which 724 are enrolled in sports sections. Sports sections are organized in the institute for sports (football, mini-football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, chess, tug-of-war, athletics).
During 2022, a total of 32 sports competitions in football, mini-football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, chess, tug-of-war, athletics, and more than 58 sports events were organized.
In particular, in order to meaningfully organize the free time of the students of the institute and to further increase their interest, the deans of the faculties organized inter-faculty events on December 12.
The purpose of this competition was to organize students’ free time in a meaningful way and to select talented students among students in such sports as volleyball, football, chess and table tennis.
The panel of judges ensured transparency in order to evaluate the competition fairly.
The competitions were held in a meaningful and cheerful spirit, and souvenirs were presented to the winning teams.
In order to meaningfully organize the free time of the students of the faculty of agribusiness and digital economy and to further increase their interest in sports, the dean’s office of the faculty organized conferences between the faculties on December 17.
The purpose of this competition was to meaningfully organize students’ free time and to select talented students of the institute in the sport of basketball among students.
A competition was held between 5 faculties in basketball. Students of our faculty, who are advanced not only in science, but also in sports, tried to win during the specified time.
The team of “Agribusiness and digital economy” faculty and students took an active part in this event.
According to the results;
Faculty of Agricultural Products Storage and Processing took 1st place
Faculty of Agribusiness and Digital Economy took 2nd place
The Faculty of Agroengineering and Hydromelioration won the 3rd place.
At the end of the competition, on behalf of the rector of the Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agro-Technology, the heads of the Department of Work with Youth, Spirituality and Enlightenment presented the winners with letters of thanks.

The second of the 5 important initiatives is to speed up work on physical training of young people, to create the necessary conditions for them to show their abilities in the field of sports, and to promote a healthy lifestyle at the Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agro-Technology. under the slogan “the future is the foundation of the country”, sports events were held among the professors and teachers of the institute.
The sports event was opened by Atajanov Murodjon, vice-rector for educational affairs of the institute. To form a healthy lifestyle in the institute, to create conditions for teachers to regularly engage in physical education and mass sports, to strengthen the unity of the team through sports competitions, to develop feelings of patriotism and loyalty to the Motherland. emphasized.
After that, O. Abdullayev, the leader of the branch primary organization of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, emphasized the importance of mass sports in the lives of people and families in all regions of the country, that it is the basis of physical and mental health, and that it harms young people who enter life with great hope. The athlete wished good luck to the teachers and declared the sports competition open.
In the sports competition, professors and teachers of the institute’s faculties of Agricultural products storage and processing, Plant protection and agrochemistry, Agrobusiness and digital economy, Agrobiology and Agroengineering and hydromelioration competed in volleyball and chess. The competition was led by M. Mirzayev, B. Gaynazarov and A. Boymirzayev, professors of the “Pedagogy, psychology and physical education” department.
According to the results of the competitions, the Faculty of Agroengineering and Hydromelioration took the 1st place in the volleyball category, the Faculty of Agribusiness and Digital Economy took the 2nd place, and in the chess category among men
Sh. Aliyev, a teacher of the Faculty of Plant Protection and Agrochemistry, and D. Boronova, a teacher of the Faculty of Agribusiness and Digital Economy among women, won.
The participants of the winning team were awarded diplomas and valuable gifts by the administration of the institute.
