About the sports competitions planned for July 2022 between the faculties of the Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agro-Technology

 

The sports club of the institute was established based on the certificate No. 339-B dated December 28, 2020, in order to widely involve students, professors, scientific staff and workers of the Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agro-Technology in mass-physical and sports-health activities.

Currently, the Institute has 5 faculties.

1) Storage and processing of agricultural products

2) Plant protection and agro chemistry

3) Agribusiness and digital economy

4) Agrobiology

5) Agro engineering and hydro melioration

A total of 3,622 students are studying in the above faculties, of which 724 are enrolled in sports sections. Sports sections are organized in the institute for sports (football, mini-football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, chess, tug-of-war, athletics).

During the year 2022, it is planned to organize more than 58 sports events in football, mini-football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, chess, tug-of-war, athletics, 32 times in total and 58 sports events.

Based on the above plan, another competition was held between students of Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agro-Technology and Andijan State Pedagogical Institute on July 5. The meeting was hosted by our institute. Students of both higher educational institutions tried to win. The teams fought seriously on the field to protect the honor of their institutions. Since the game was hot and full of compromises, it was not felt that the set time passed too quickly.

According to the result, students of Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agro-Technology won over students of Andijan State Pedagogical Institute with a score of 3:1.
