The Department of Uzbek Language, Pedagogy and Physical Culture as a social department that carries out spiritual, educational, scientific, methodological, organizational and methodological work as part of the Faculty of Plant Protection, Agrochemistry and Soil Science of the Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnology first in the Department of Humanities, then from December 1 2012 as the Department of Pedagogy and Natural Sciences, on February 22, 2015 as the Department of Uzbek Language, Pedagogy and Psychology, then from August 2016 as the Department of Pedagogy, Psychology and Psychology. The Department of Physical Education began its activities as an independent department under the name of Uzbek language, pedagogy and physical culture in August 2021.
Today there are 23 professors working at the department. Of these, 4 are associate professors, 1 Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), 5 senior teachers, 9 assistants and 5 trainee teachers.
Over the past three years, Ikromzhon Mamajonov, Alijonova Makhbubahonov, associate professor, Ganiev Doniyorbek, Doctor of Science (PhD) have successfully defended their scientific works at the department. Today the scientific potential of the department is 32.1%.
The department operates as a department that develops the professional knowledge of specialists in the field of using the Uzbek language in field conditions, the Russian language, pedagogy, psychology and physical culture. Currently, the Department of Professional Education provides training for pre-university education specialists in the field of agronomy and agricultural mechanization as the main department.
