In September 2004, in accordance with the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the departments of “Agricultural machinery”, “Tractors and automobiles”, “Operation of the tractor fleet and electrification of agriculture”, Repair and safety of life” and “Mechanization of general livestock and livestock farms” were merged into the Department of “Agricultural Machinery, Operation and repair”. The newly created department 2004-2016 was headed by Associate Professor I.G.Mirzoev. In February 2016, the departments “Agricultural Machinery” and “Organization of maintenance of agricultural machinery” were established on the basis of the department “Agricultural Machinery, Operation and Repair”. In 2019, the departments “Agricultural machinery” and “Operation of agricultural machinery and organization of maintenance” were merged into the department “Agricultural Machinery and organization of technical service”, which operates to this day.
Since the foundation of the Institute (since 1964), it is necessary to mention the former heads of departments who, with their selfless work, made a worthy contribution to the formation and development of the above-mentioned departments. Kurbanova.M., (Agricultural machines), associate professors Sablikov N.V., Nasriddinov T.X., Karimov U.K., Boltaboev B.R., Professor T.S.Khudoiberdiev. (Tractors and cars), associate professors Abdullaev A.A., Tursunov B.N., Dadakhodzhaev A.Q. (Operation of the machine and tractor fleet), associate professors Rakhmonov G.R. Mavlonov N.M., Oripov G.. (Reliability and repair of machines), professors Ikramov T.X. Hoshimov O., associate professors Juraev A.D., Dadkhoboev A., Aliyev N. (General animal husbandry and mechanization of livestock farms). Also, the following teaching staff take part in ensuring the development of departments: Nazirov Sh., Mamarozikov U., Yakimenko V., Dalimboev A., Soliev A., Alimov B., Muminov R., Timoshinov V., Kurnakov V., Askarov K., Ziyaeva K., Yusupov A., Akhmadaliev K., Murodov M., Saidov A., Toshpulatov B.,Nematullaev K., Parpiev G., Karimov G.K., Igamberdiev U.R., Pulatov S.I., Askarov K.T. also deserve attention.
